This Texas license to carry class is a State Approved Course. It is an online course you can take right from the comforts of your own home, anytime, day or night. The online LTC class works on all devices including your smartphone. There is no need to spend all day sitting in a crowded classroom on a Saturday. You can get certified online at your own pace.

The $99 includes Texas License to Carry Online Class WITH In Person Class Review, Short Shooting Lesson and Proficiency Demonstration.  It’s OK if you have never shot before, Wally teaches you.      

You will pay a $15 range fee to Sportsman’s Outlet Indoor Shooting Range. Ear and eye protection are furnished and a  target.

You do not have to do the online class first. You can do the range in-person part any time after signing up. Contact Wally to schedule a time. Contact info below.

The in person portion should take about 1 to 1.5 hours. We will have a review of the online class, a short shooting lesson and do the range portion of the LTC requirements.

Please bring a .22 to .45 caliber unloaded handgun & ammo, minimum 50 rounds. A handgun will be furnished if you need to borrow one. Bring ammo or purchase at the training site. Wally will include some additional shooting instruction at no extra charge if needed. You will pay a $15 range fee to Sportsman’s Outlet. Eye, ear protection and a target will be furnished.

Professional Training Led by Wally Burns

Wally teaches people who have never fired a gun before as well as experts who want to improve their shooting. Wally is a State of Texas Certified License to Carry Instructor, a Texas Security Firearm Instructor and a NRA pistol instructor. Wally was a hunting & fishing guide for several years. Hands-On Shooting Proficiency Tests Available

Even if you took the classroom portion of the Texas License to Carry class elsewhere you can still do the range portion with Wally. You must contact Wally directly to schedule a time. The fee is $60 without a brief lesson or $75 with a brief lesson. Payment must be made in cash or by Zelle.
